If this is your first semester in one of our business programs at Florence-Darlington
Technical College, I would like to offer a special welcome.  On behalf of all of our faculty;
we hope that you learn a lot, achieve your goal of attaining your degree, and have fun
doing so.  Life is too short not to enjoy your time here.  So, make the most of it!

     A tremendous amount of time, effort, and money has been spent designing a "user-friendly"
 website to serve your needs.  My advice is to make the most of it and explore all that we have to offer.

     Not only do we offer top-notch business courses, but we also have the opportunity to travel to Mainz,
Germany as part of an exchange program with BBS III that has continued for over twelve years.  We also
offer our students the opportunity to travel to Mexico to take an advanced class in Spanish in the summer.
In addition, we will be hosting students from Denmark again this fall as part of our commitment to offering
our students important cultural opportunities in today's global economy.

     If you look under our "International Programs" section, you will see that our department (as well as the
entire college) has been recognized at the national level.  It is our department's goal to build upon the tremendous
work of our former chair (Louise Balotti) in continuing to achieve national and international distinction for
two-year business programs.  Our efforts, however, are predicated upon your success.  You, the student, are the
reason why we are here - and it is to you that we owe our support and loyalty.  

     Please read over the following information carefully so that you will maximize your chances for success.
